He is perusing a doctoral degree from the University of Tehran, Iran, where his research focusing on urban hydrology. He has since worked as the president of student scientific associations of the university for two years, as a coordinator and event manager leading student teams to develop their skills. Ali has developed extensive experiences in leadership, team working and youth issues. He took a responsibility of being a project coordinator and expert and he performed leading and technical roles in several initiatives during his works with different organizations in Iran and abroad. He is also affiliated with Treejer. Treejer is a blockchain-based startup offering financial and non-financial incentives to individuals, businesses and governments to plant and conserve trees. Using concepts such as social forestry, tokenomics and gamification, this international project aims to inspire various groups to join an inclusive and sustainable model of tree plantation. On a personal level, he enjoys travelling and visited 25 countries so far.
