Born and raised in Iran, she has been living and working in different countries for the past 5 years. She originally gained a BSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Tehran in 2019. Her Master’s degree in Biodiversity then will take her back to the University of Tehran, Iran. Negin now works as a researcher at Iranian Cheetah Society. More recently she has also been getting stuck in with monitoring and management for the protected areas after joining Institute of Iranian Wildlife Shepherds. Doing so has profoundly shifted her perception on the opportunities open to her in terms of communicating with biologists, conservationists and other fellow human beings on issues of brown bear diets. But it has also made Negin quite interested in youth-run events and collaborative projects.
